Downer EDI Engineering provides mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering services from feasibility, design, planning, construction, installation to operation and maintenance with prime activities in contracting, services and projects. Downer EDI Engineering is unique for its diverse capabilities and comprehensive engineering services delivered across a wide range of markets including the resources, energy, transport, oil/gas/petrochemical, commercial and public buildings, technology and environmental markets.
Our electrical, instrumentation and mechanical services include voice and data, optical fibre, traffic light installation and maintenance, rail signalling, overhead line power distribution up to 330kV, power distribution, HV switchyards and electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance services. |

Commercial projects recently completed include the Enex100 Office and retail complex in the Perth CBD, SJOG Hospital Subiaco redevelopment, Edith Cowan University Health & Wellness Building, the AMC Henderson and Curtin University HV Infrastructure Upgrade Projects.and due for completion in April 2010 is the Alluvion Office Building in the CBD.
Downer EDI Engineering's communications division was awarded the 2009 National Electrical and Communications (NECA) Environmental and Energy Efficiency award for the voice/data/electrical fitout of the heritage listed Perth GPO building. |
